Romance on ice

Not just a movie and a musical, "Beauty and the Beast" is now also a figure skating performance. See Belle, the Beast, village bully Gaston, and dainty Mrs. Potts perform this classic French tale in a new medum. Disney On Ice's "Beauty and the Beast" is coming Jan. 16-21 to the Nassau Coliseum, located at 1255 Hempstead Turnpike in Uniondale. "Magical Sleigh Ride" Story Hour. Guided by museum educators, children ages 3 to 5 will explore the museum's sleighs and carriages. The hour will include a make-believe sleigh ride, hands-on project and storybook reading. Register early for this popular event.
