Make a sandwich roll-up at Elmont Library
Teenagers in Elmont can make their own sandwich roll-up at the Elmont Memorial Library on Aug. 9 at 6:30 p.m. Teenagers will make three roll-ups: a Mexican-style sandwich, a classic tomato and mozzarella and a “mystery sandwich.” Registration is required, with preference given to Elmont cardholders. ‘Doo Wop Under the Stars’ on the Village Green
Charlie Thomas’ The Drifters, Barbara Harris & the Toys and John Kuse & The Excellents will perform at the Village Green on Aug. 9 from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. It is being sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, which will also have a table set up at the concert.
