Audiences were enchanted by Oceanside High School’s production of Beauty and the Beast last weekend.

The musical tells the story of a Belle, a smart, adventurous young woman whose father is trapped in the castle of the Beast. When Belle offers herself as captive instead, she learns that appearances are not all that they seem. Laura Gallo is the theater advisor and Oceanside High School senior Benjamin Murasso is the student director of the play.

In addition to their performances at the high school, the actors took their show on the road with performances at School No. 9E, School No. 5 and School No. 3.
