Bee a healthy heart winner

Rohrs's family has a history of heart disease was told by his doctor that he was in danger of suffering a stroke. The father of three drastically changed his diet, took up running, and saw his cholesterol drop from 216 to 145.
An electronic technician, Rohrs completed the Yonkers Marathon last year and hopes to run in the 2005 New York City Marathon. The New York Road Runners member says he now has the energy to keep up with his young children.      
      "The thought of appearing on a box of Honey Nut Cheerios is unbelievable," said Rohrs "I began a life changing routine as a way to get healthy and this is an incredible reward."
      The box unveiling took place at last week's Daytona 500 race. On hand for the announcement was Bill Lester, driver of the #22 Toyota on the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Lester served on the judging panel and has twice appeared on his own special-edition Honey Nut Cheerios box.
      "Honey Nut Cheerios is a leading cereal that offers heart-healthy benefits to help lower cholesterol," said Bruce Vonstein, marketing manager of Honey Nut Cheerios. Vonstein said he was happy to receive such a large response the contest. "[We're happy so] many people made a commitment to live a healthier lifestyle. Rohrs is a great story to tell, and we are happy to feature him on Honey Nut Cheerios."
