The South Shore Symphony Orchestra will be joined by the Diocesan Choir of Rockville Centre and soprano soloist Christina Franco in a performance of Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony in St. Agnes Cathedral on May 20 at 7: 30 p.m.
Under the baton of Music Director and Conductor Scott Jackson Wiley and Director Michael Wustrow, the 65-member orchestra will also perform Mozart’s Laudate Dominum, Haydn’s Te Deum, and Glorious is the Lord Almighty strings.
The South Shore Symphony Orchestra is one of the premier orchestras of Long Island. Currently celebrating its 27th season, it is an associate of the Rockville Centre Guild for the Arts and is based in the village. A donation of $15 is suggested. The cathedral is located at 29 Quealy Place and
