The BFE is an organization of alumni and friends of the Baldwin Public Schools. It raises funds to provide mini-grants, maxi-grants and scholarships for Baldwin's students.
Barbara Fullerton has been an active BFE board member for many years and has dedicated herself to a myriad of organizations throughout the Baldwin community. She was the reunion organizer for her class of '64 and has co-chaired the spring celebration several times. Fullerton is also vice president of the Baldwin Chamber of Commerce and its former secretary. She received the Business Leader of the Year Award from the Council of Chambers and served on the steering committee for the new WWII monument erected at Silver Lake Park. She is a former board member of the St. Christopher's School and past president of its Rosary-Altar Society. As a member of the Association for Death Education and Counseling, she is a co-facilitator of a bereavement support group, and speaks at schools to educate parents helping children cope with grief.
