The 15th Annual Bellmore Family Street Festival starts Nov. 1 at 6 p.m. and continues throughout the weekend from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. at the Bellmore LIRR Station and in Bellmore Village. The festival attracts more than 100,000 visitors each year and is known as Nassau County's biggest family festival.
Sponsored by the Bellmore Chamber of Commerce and Citibank, the festival features more than 107 activities and attractions for the whole family. A 25-square block area is reserved for rides, a kids expo, a puppet and marionette theater, a military expo, petting zoo, pony rides, animal exhibits, auto shows, dance, fitness and karate demonstrations, live entertainment, international foods and more than 100 handi-craft vendors.
