Among the films screened were "Little Shop of Wonders" by Bellmore filmmaker Leslye Abbey, about the Long Island Rock and Lapidary Shop that was a fixture on Bedford Avenue in Bellmore for close to half a century. The psychological thriller "Peace of Mind," which was also shown at the festival, was produced by Tangerine Films, a film company owned by Bellmore residetn Sal el Giudice.
The festival also offered panel discussions on film distribution and scriptwriting and an artists' lounge as well as a closing night celebration.
