Rabbi Harvey Goldscheider, of Temple Beth-El of North Bellmore, led attendees as the candles of the chamber's 10-foot silver menorah were lit.
This year's celebration included the singing of traditional Chanukah songs, sung by students of the Bellmore Jewish Center's Hebrew School and Temple Beth-El's nursery school.
