With a nor'easter in full effect, the blizzard of 2016 couldn't stop surfers from hitting the waves over the weekend.

The intense storm delivered waves for much of the East Coast, and Unsound surf shop was open on Saturday and Sunday for those looking to take advantage of the large swells and in need of last-minute winter gear.

"Going off!" Unsound said on its Facebook page Sunday morning. "Be safe out there today and know your limits it is much bigger than it looks."
