Final results from June's special election and the announcement of official appointments within the Village were reported at the annual Reorganizational Meeting held on Tuesday, July 10.
Village Administrator Anthony Cancellieri reported that the Village Board, sitting as Board of Canvas, reviewed the votes cast with the votes received by each of the candidates of June's election, as follows:

The Village of Rockville Centre Board of Trustees is now organized as follows: Mayor Eugene J. Mayor and Trustees Mary Whalen Bossart, Wayne H. Lipton, John A. Matthews and Gregory F. Finn.
Mayor Eugene Murray designated Trustee Lipton to serve as Deputy Mayor, with the power to perform all of the duties of the Mayor in the event of the absence or the inability of the Mayor. Anthony Cancellieri was again appointed as Village Clerk-Treasurer/Village Administrator and Carol Kramer as Deputy Clerk-Treasurer. Michael Schussheim was appointed Deputy Village Administrator-Finance/Village Comptroller. Steve Kritsas was appointed Deputy Village Administrator-Operations/Village Engineer. Martha Krisel will continue to serve as Village Attorney as will Anthony Brunetta as Superintendent of Parks & Recreation.
It was decided that the regular meeting nights of the Board of Trustees be held on the first and third Monday of each month.
