Bobby Jackson at Wellness Walk

Posted
"I'm supporting the Walk for Wellness because," Jackson said, "you could have all the money in the world, but what's most important is good health."
Former NY Jet Bobby Jackson will lead the walkers up Levy Park's most-challenging trail, the 1/2-mile "Wellness Wonder Trail." The two other trails that are marked are the one-mile "Wellness Overlook," which is the intermediate trail and half-mile "Hop to the Top." "The Nature Trail" is a beautiful, level, 1.6-mile stroll around the periphery of the park. Any of the park's trails offer breath-taking views.
Jackson played cornerback for the NY Jets from 1977 to 1985. He was selected to the Pro Bowl in 1983 and was inducted into the Florida State Hall of Fame. Jackson is now associated with the Modell's Sporting Goods Marketing Department, and he is known in the not-for-profit world as someone who is willing to give of himself in support of worthwhile projects.
"The Community Wellness Council is fortunate to have Bobby Jackson volunteer his time at our Walk for Wellness this year," said President Richard Lawrence.
