The Brownies of Girl Scout Troop 859 from the Riverside School kicked off the Christmas season with members of the Sandel Senior Center on the afternoon of Dec. 5. The third graders played “Jingle Bells” on their recorders and sang Christmas carols with the members. The girls even got to learn some new dance moves. The trip concluded with the Brownies serving and sharing sweets they brought in for the event. It was a treat for everyone!
