The school budget passed by a vote of 1001 to 604. Mark Masin and Lorrie Brady ran uncontested for two seats on the Rockville Centre School District Board of Education. Brady is an incumbent and Masin ran for the seat of current trustee William Burke, who is retiring. The school budget is $66,466,671.
Villagers also passed the library budget by a vote of 909 to 503. Joan McLachlan also ran unopposed for library trustee. All the candidates will serve three-year terms. The library budget is $2,489,438.
