Canal resident sues over bridge work

      The 83-year old resident, Shirley Landsman, who has lived in the house since 1950, is claiming the exterior house walls and her driveway were damaged during the demolition of the old bridge. She also claims the new bridge's concrete walls severely limit her ability to see oncoming traffic and therefore, according to her lawyer, have rendered her driveway 100 percent useless. The construction company, Bi-County Construction Corporation of Medford, refused comment on the situation.
