The mission, organized by the Chabad Center of the Five Towns in Cedarhurst and its spiritual leader Rabbi Shneur Zalman Wolowik, brought 14 adults and six children to Jerusalem and surrounding areas for a nine-day non-stop journey, from June 30 to July 9.
It was a terrific experience, said Wolowik, who went to Israel with his wife Chana and children Menachem Mendel, 7, and Binyomin, 11 months old. Our goal was to show solidarity and help to support the economy. The Israeli people could not believe we came. They were very excited to see us.
