Eileen Wulff was honored as the East Meadow Chamber of Commerce Small Business Person of the Year at a ceremony last Friday.
Wulff is the co-owner of the Phil Wulff Allstate Agency in Seaford and is on the board of directors for the East Meadow Chamber of Commerce.
Chamber president Walter Skinner chose Wulff as this year’s recipient and said, “She really looks to give back and is looking for nothing in return.”
Wulff said she was speechless when Skinner presented her with the award. “I’m humbled and honored to be a part of this community,” she added.
A lifelong East Meadow resident, Wulff founded the Charles & Catherine E. Broderick and the William & Ida Wulff Scholarship funds that help support the dreams of many East Meadow high school students each year.
“My heart and soul are in East Meadow,” said Wulff, who is also an EMHS graduate. “It’s a wonderful community.”
Wulff said she is an East Meadow lifer and resides in the hamlet with her husband, Phil.
