The Merrick Chamber of Commerce is gearing up to host its 10th Annual Fall Festival, which is set to take place Friday, Saturday and Sunday, September 15, 16 and 17 on Merrick Avenue at the Merrick Long Island Rail Road station.
The festival will feature pony and carnival rides, fire safety displays, arts and crafts vendors, an antique car show, North Shore Animal League Portable Adoption Van and live music. Free contests will include: pizza eating, bubble gum blowing, freeze dancing and the most talented pet.
Fair hours are: Friday, 6 to 10 P.M.; Saturday, 10 A.M. to 11 P.M.; and Sunday, 11 A.M. to 6 P.M. For more information, one may call (516) 377-1357 or 378-5320, extension 16.
