Much credit should be given to director Mark Kenny for an evening of charm, and for musical director Robin Hall who helped actors remember that they were telling a story as well as singing beautiful songs. And many compliments are in order for the high school pit band with a few middle school students included, who played to perfection as they were aptly led by orchestra conductor Steve Barbieri. But the night really belonged to Carrie Lynn Heffernan, the Fairy Godmother. A talented solid singer, she captivated the audience, thereby helping them to believe that nothing is impossible in the realm of love.
