Come out to the Memorial Day parade

The annual East Meadow Veterans Memorial Day Parade will begin on Monday, May 28, at East Meadow High School on Carman Avenue and will end at the East Meadow Veterans Memorial Park on Prospect Avenue.

Marchers will proceed down Carmen Avenue, make a left heading east onto Hempstead Turnpike, then turn right onto Prospect Avenue and head straight to the park.

The community is encouraged to come out and support members from the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Jewish War Veterans and American Legion, as well as the many men and women who are currently serving our country.

Following the parade, a service honoring the deceased veterans will commence and wreaths will be placed at the memorial.
