Antares consists of four virtuoso instrumentalists on violin, piano, clarinet, and cello. The ensemble draws on a vast and colorful repertoire, playing as a quartet, trio and duo. This versatility enables them to perform concerts that span the traditional eras of classical music, from the 18th century through the music of today.
Hailed by critics for "powerful virtuosity and striking razor-sharp ensemble playing," Antares was named First Prize Winner of the 2002 Concert Artists Guild Competition, and has received numerous other honors.
