Going Abroad?Get your passport at the library when the Town of Hempstead brings it's mobile Town Hall to the Rockville Centre Public Library. Registration forms can be downloaded from www.toh.li. Those getting new passports need to bring an original birth certificate, driver's license or proof of identification. Otherwise bring your current or expired passport. Fees by check or money order are $40 for under 14 years old and $55 for 14 years and older. A separate fee of $35 payable by cash, check or money order made out to Mark Bonilla, Town Clerk for passport execution and photo.

New Beginnings Club for all singles 55 years and older, with meetings on the first and third Wednesdays of the month. The first meeting is from 6 to 8 p.m. with a guest speaker and the second meeting of the month is held at a local restaurant for members to enjoy dining and socializing.
