Yard sale. Animal Lifeline, a local non-profit animal rescue organization based in the Merrick-Bellmore area, will hold its 16th Annual Save the Strays Yard Sale on May 29, 30 and 31, from 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. The event will take place at 2492 Central Parkway in Merrick (off Merrick Road, adjacent to Dunkin' Donuts). Great Decisions will look at eight of the most significant and far-reaching challenges facing the world today, including weapons of mass destruction, diversity in Islam, the media and foreign policy, and reform in the Middle East.
