The Rockville Centre Community Fund has begun a new fundraiser, “Paving the Way for our Neighbors in Need,” to assist community members who have fallen on difficult economic times.
The fundraiser, which was first introduced at the “Enchanted Winterland” event at Molloy College, will be an ongoing project in which supporters may buy a brick for $100.
Each brick will be inscribed as the donor requests and the first batch of bricks will be laid near the flagpole at Village Hall in May.
The first date for orders will be April 1. Order forms are available at the Rockville Centre Village Hall or at Oceanville Mason Supply, 2499 Long Beach Road.
