fall children's programs


The Henry Waldinger Memorial Library is offering a wide range of programs for children of all ages this fall. Registration for all programs is required, with first preference given to Valley Stream library cardholders.

Alphabet Soup programs will be offered throughout the fall for children ages 4 to 6. All programs begin promptly at 10:30 a.m. on scheduled Tuesdays and Wednesdays. A complete list of dates for Alphabet Soup programs is available in the Children's Room. You can register for individual sessions depending on your schedule.

Pre-K Story Time is a special story time for children age 4, who are in pre-school. Fall sessions are on Thursdays from 1-1:45 p.m., on Dec. 4 and 11. Children must be born on or before Sept. 1, 1999, and proof of age is required at registration.

Kindergarten Kapers is a new series of programs offered this fall for the first time. This is a special story time for kindergartners, featuring language arts, stories, and fun activities. Programs begin promptly at 4:00 p.m., on Dec. 19.
