Literary Series will begin next month. The Oceanside library has received a grant from the New York Council of Humanities for its literary series. "The American Novel: From the Heartland," will be participating in the 2002 October Humanities Month celebration, sponsored by the Council. The series looks at our vast Midwest as seen by renowned novelists from that region.
