Big Help at Wilson School, 25 Buckingham Road. Students are collecting gently used coats, hats and gloves of all sizes in the gym.

Two fall races are being sponsored by the Rockville Centre Department of Parks and Recreation. The first will be a Family Fun Run (1-mile) and the second a 10 K Road Race (6.2 miles). They will take place on North Park Avenue (between Merrick Road and Sunrise Highway). Entry for Fun Run is $6 per person. Entry fee for the 10 K is $18. Annual Bazaar at Temple B'nai Sholom, 100 Hempstead Ave., Rockville Centre will a variety of merchandise such as clothing, toys, housewares, paper goods and food.

Peri-natal group for those who have had a loss due to miscarriage, stillbirth or an infant who died soon after birth meets at Mercy Medical Center, 1000 North Village Avenue, Rockville Centre.

The American Association of University Women will meet in the Reception Room in Kellenberg Hall at Molloy College, 1000 Hempstead Avenue. The guest speaker will be Edward Starr from the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Mitchell Field. Prospective members who are college graduates are invited to attend.
