Trisha Small will have her photography exhibited in the Concourse Gallery through October. Her subject matter ranges from still life and landscapes to contemporary portraiture, inspired by her travels around the globe.
Pumpkin Personalities is a display of characters who will be featured on the main floor showcases in the library, during October.
Community events

Two fall races are being sponsored by the Rockville Centre Department of Parks and Recreation. The first will be a Family Fun Run (1-mile) and the second a 10 K Road Race (6.2 miles). They will take place on North Park Avenue (between Merrick Road and Sunrise Highway). Entry for Fun Run is $6 per person. Entry fee for the 10 K is $18.
