Two life-saving CPR courses will be held at the library. An adult CPR course costs $30 per person and an infant and children's CPR course is $35 per person or $65 per couple. Those interested in attending the course must register at the reference desk starting Saturday, August 25. Checks and money orders must be made out to CPR instructor Leslie Bilawsky.
Adult CPR course: Saturday, September 15, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Infants and children's CPR course: Saturday, September 22, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Toddler story times will be offered at the library. Groups are limited to 18 children; a parent or caretaker must stay with each child.

Boys and girls in grades 5-7 are invited to attend the Babysitting Workshops to learn the basics of babysitting. Registration is necessary and will begin on Tuesday, September 4.

Homework center is open to children in grades 4-6 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4-7 p.m. Help is available for remedial as well as for students who want to get better grades.
