Castle Crazy Long Beach Historical Society presents Castles by the Sea on Sunday, July 29 at Riverside Beach. LB Breast Cancer Coalition's Lend A Helping Hand

Disabled adults support The St. Charles Hospital and Rehabilitation Center Auxiliary sponsors a monthly support group for men and women who are physically disabled. Teaching volunteers The Harriet Eisman Community School, an alternative high school diploma program located in Long Beach, is seeking volunteers to serve in a variety of positions, including assistant teachers for a variety of subjects, office managers and tutors. If you have three hours a week to spare in the afternoon or evening, a love for education and desire to work with youth aged 14-20, then the Community School could be for you. Long Beach Auxiliary Police A recruitment drive for the Auxiliary Police is currently underway. Since 1940, The Long Beach Auxiliary Police have assisted the regular police department, serving as extra eyes and ears on the Long Beach streets and helping with traffic and crowd control during local emergencies and special events.
