Beauty & the Beast Jean Cocteau's surreal masterpiece is both faithful to the original fairy tale and eerily beautiful as a fantasy of unforgettable images. Showing at the Vineyard Church, 251 Merrick Road. Black and white in French, with English subtitles. Admission is free.

RVC concerts are conducted at the Village Green on Maple Avenue. In case of rain, the concerts are held at the South Side Middle School on Hillside Avenue. Concert goers are reminded to bring folding chairs or blankets to sit on.

New beginnings club Listen to speakers and on the third Wednesday of every month meet at a local restaurant to socialize and enjoy good food.

RVC Chamber Street Fair to feature Arts and crafts, pony rides, food and other merchandise on Village Avenue from Sunrise Highway to Lincoln Avenue. Admission is free. The rain date is July 15.
