"Censorship in Schools and Libraries" is an illustrated journal display that presents 28 cases of censorship. The exhibit will be on display at the library.

Vacation Bible school The theme this year is "Beach Trek: Are you ready for the Water of Life?" In addition to Bible Study there is worship, arts, crafts, music, snack and recess. Classes are for children age 3 through those entering grade 5. Register at the church office of the First Presbyterian Church, 717St. Luke's Place, Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.The fee is $20. Defensive driving course at the library in two parts. Registration for these courses begins Saturday, June 30, and the registration forms can be obtained from the library's adult reference desk. The fee for the course is $35.

You Can Count on Me is the film showing at the library. Rated R, one hour and 51 minutes long. Children under 17 must be accompanied by an adult at all performances.

Summer story club holds its first session for boys and girls age 3 through entering kindergarten. Stories are told and films and filmstrips of popular children's works are shown. Registration begins June 4 at the children's desk. There are two sessions to choose from.
