Youth Art Exhibit by the Village Art Club to be held at the Rockville Centre Library will feature an exhibit and competition for young artists, 13-18. Must preregister by May 3.

Beauty & the Beast Jean Cocteau's surreal masterpiece is both faithful to the original fairy tale and eerily beautiful as a fantasy of unforgettable images. Showing at the Vineyard Church, 251 Merrick Road. Black and white in French, with English subtitles. Admission is free.

Summer playground program will be held from June 27 through August 9. The regularly weekly program is staffed by trained recreation personnel and open to grades 1-6. Registration is taking place at the Rec Center, Hewitt School or Wilson School.

Junior Middle School Dances are being offered for 7th and 8th grade students who reside in RVC or attend school in the village.

First Annual Mercy Luau will be sponsored by Mercy Medical Center, at the Bridgeview Yacht Club in Island Park. Dinner tickets are $75 per person. Reserve tickets by calling (516) 705-1021.

First Annual Golf Outing will be part of the Rockville Centre's Soccer Club's 30th Anniversary festivities at Lido Gold Club, Lido Beach. Individual reservations are $150 per person.
