Side by Side by Sondheim will be performed at Baldwin High School. This musical is a perfect introduction to the work of contemporary master Stephen Sondheim. Refreshments will be available from the members of SADD of Baldwin High School. Donation requested is $12.00 and tickets are available at the door or by calling BCADA at 546-1771.

Communion Breakfast The St. Christopher's Rosary Altar Society is sponsoring a Communion Breakfast after Mass on Sunday. The breakfast will take place at MacArthur Park in Rockville Centre and the guest speaker will be Sister Yvette Arnold. Her topic will be The Rosary and Mary. Debt free for life The Adult Continuing Education Program at the Baldwin Public School District is offering "Debt Free Living", a comprehensive 3-hour workshop that shows how to pay off all your credit card debt in 0ne to three years. If you have a mortgage you'll pay that off in another three to four years. For registration options and additional information call 377-9354.

Model railroading Spring convention to be held at the United Methodist Church, 881 Merrick Road, Baldwin. It will feature operating model railroads, modeling clinics, model and photo contest, white elephant tables and door prizes.

Open House Nassau County Legislator Joseph Scannell (D-Baldwin) will be hosting several open houses at his district office at 1968 Grand Avenue, Baldwin. Residents have an opportunity to voice their concerns to him.

Art Networking Meeting Individual artists and members of cultural organizations can come together to meet new people and form artistic collaborations, along with sharing ideas about how the Arts Council can serve them better. Spring Pre-School Story Time for boys and girls age 3 to Kindergarten. weekly half hour meetings consist of stories, films, songs and fingerplay. Registration begins Monday, March 26.

Glass Etching an adult art class. Crafts person Julianne Gaudioso will teach you the special art of glass etching. You will take home a beautiful vase to either display or fill with flowers for someone special on Mother's Day. Registration begins Monday, April 16. $12 fee.

"Only on Sundays" is the name of the new books program. A selection of new adult, young adult and children's books will be introduced for your perusal and enjoyment in the library's community room. It is a great opportunity to meet other local book lovers. Refreshments will be served.

Bookers a book discussion program for fifth and sixth graders. A copy of the book to be discussed will be loaned to each child at registration. Boys and girls are invited to share their thoughts about this book at the meeting. Registration begins Monday, March 12

Play Time The library will be offering "Play Time." This is a one-hour program for 1 1/2 and 2-year olds. Meet new friends and share good times. Toys will be available for play. No snacks permitted in the library. Parents or caregivers must remain with their children. No more than 2 children per adult. In-person registration begins on Tuesday, April 10 at the Children's Reference Desk.

Mother's Day Craft Programs will be held for children in grades K-6. Children in grades K-2 are invited to attend the program on Monday, May 7.
