Prescription Drug Lecture The Nassau Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star will hold an open meeting on the topic, "What do you want to know about the prescription drugs you are taking." at the Baldwin masonic Temple, 754 Prospect St, Baldwin. Debt free for life The Adult Continuing Education Program at the Baldwin Public School District is offering "Debt Free Living", a comprehensive 3-hour workshop that shows how to pay off all your credit card debt in 0ne to three years. Defensive Driving Course The library will be holding two Defensive Driving Courses. Upon completion of this six-hour course those attendees who are primary drivers of a vehicle will receive a certificate entitling them to a 10% reduction in their auto liability and collision insurance premiums and a reduction in the number of points currently on their licenses as a result of traffic violations. Metropolitan Museum of Art Trip Join the library on a special trip to the museum and to the Waldorf-Astoria for High Tea. The bus will leave the library at 9:30 a.m. and return at 6:15 p.m. The cost of the trip is $62 and registration begins on Friday, March 23.
Family Film The library will present the film "Running Free" - the story of an awkward colt who grows into a magnificent stallion at the edge of the rugged Skeleton Coast of Namibia. Rated G.

Glass Etching an adult art class. Craftsperson Julianne Gaudioso will teach you the special art of glass etching. You will take home a beautiful vase to either display or fill with flowers for someone special on Mother's Day. Registration begins Monday, April 16. $12 fee.
