Reptiles on the move will feature a giant python and other live exotic animals.

Shadowboxes. Miniature settings created by artists Lydia Paulsen will be on display in the main floor display cases of the Rockville Centre Public Library through December. The exhibit includes shadowboxes of rooms, houses and an old curiosity shop filled with realistic replicas of furniture, toys, food and other household items. Ms. Paulsen is a professional art teacher and painter whose work has been exhibited frequently on Long Island. She is also a board member of the Village Art Club.

Photographs by Lynn David Nathanson will be showcased by the Rockville Centre Public Library from Dec. 8 through January. Ms. Nathanson's award-winning photographs will be displayed downstairs in the library.
Movie time at the library will feature "Toy Story 2." Children under six should be accompanied by an adult.
