Board of Zoning and Appeals meets regularly during the 2nd Tuesday of each month for a regular meeting and 3rd Tuesday monthly for decision meeting. Both are ar 7:30 P.M. at 123 South Central Avenue. Public invited.

Board of trustees will meet for a regular meeting on Jan. 8 for work session and Jan. 22 for decision meeting at 123 South Central Avenue. Public invited.

Schools



District 13. A regular meeting is scheduled for January 24 at 8:00 P.M. Meeting is held at James A. Dever School. Public is invited.

District 30 will hold a regular meeting of Board of education on Monday, January 29. Meeting is scheduled for 8:00 P.M. at Shaw Avenue School.

District 24 will hold a regular meeting of Board of Education on Thursday January 25 at 8:30 P.M. at the William Buck School. Public invited.

VSHS will hold regular meeting of Board of Education on Monday, Jan. 9 at 8:30 P.M. Meetings are held in Board room at Memorial Junior High School. The public is invited. Rezoning /BOCES presentation scheduled for Jan. 2 in Cafeteria B at 8:00p.m.

Menorah Lighting celebrated as a community event. Valley Stream's Annual Chanukah Menorah Lighting Ceremony which will take place on Thursday, Dec. 21 at 6 p.m. on the Sunrise Highway Village Green in front of the Long Island Railroad Station. Rabbi Itzchak Goldschmid, of Congregation Beth Sholom, will officiate.

Homemakers from the Franklin Square Floral Park Chapter of Homemakers will next meet on Jan. 2 at 2:00 p.m. The meeting will include a speaker, refreshments and various fee classes.
