"Der Yiddisher Mikado" comes to Oceanside at the Barry and Florence Friedberg South Shore YJCC. The Victorian wit and satire of Gilbert and Sullivan have been magically blended into this unique Yiddish-English production. Tickets are $18 in advance or $19 at the door. Museum Trip Join the Baldwin Public Library on a special bus trip to the American Museum of Natural History's Rose Center for Earth and Space. Trip will include a one-hour guided tour of the new Rose Center, a three-course private lunch in the Islamic Room, and the Hayden Planetarium's new space show. Food shopping for seniors who need assistance getting to and from local groceries. Volunteers provide transportation from the Center.

Exercise program includes aerobics specifically geared toward seniors.

Yoga is taught in the "seated" position, making movements easier.

Computer instruction for all levels.

Bridge lessons will be given at the start of the center's fall schedule. Linda Pickens, an experienced and lively bridge instructor is known for her enthusiastic and fun teaching style. Take this opportunity to brush up on techniques and renew old skills. Educational materials are provided.
