Art Exhibition.The artwork of Adele Kraetz, a former Sandel staff member. Ms. Kraetz' body of work is largely figurative and has appeared in a number of juried art shows. She has been awarded several prize ribbons. Interested members of the community are invited to meet the artist, view her artwork and listen to a discussion of her work at a reception to be held on 9/17 at 2-4 P.M.

Computer fundamentals, a workshop comprised of five 3-hour classes will cover Windows, Word 2000 and the spreadsheet program Excel 2000. Instruction will also be offered in e-mail, the internet, the use of a digital camera, a scanner and a graphics program. A $50 non-refundable fee is required. Elder law seminar, led by RVC attorney, John Bigler, will center around financial and estate planning and Medicaid. Mr. Bigler is a former chairman of the Nassau County Bar Association Committee of Social Services and Health Advocacy and a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
