Musical, featuring the Broadhollow Centre Stage Players: "The Sound of Music." The true story of a young nun who fills a household with Rogers and Hammerstein's melodies. Centre Stage is located in the Wilbur Arts Center at Molloy College, 1000 Hempstead Avenue. $10 for students 16 and under. For more information, call the box office at (631) 581-2700.

Food shopping for seniors who need assistance getting to and from local groceries. Volunteers provide transportation from the Center.

Tuesdays: 9:30 AM

Exercise program includes aerobics specifically geared toward seniors.

Tuesdays: 1 PM

Yoga is taught in the "seated" position, making movements easier.

Wednesdays: 10 AM

Computer instruction for all levels.

Thursdays: 9:30 AM

Bridge lessons will be given at the start of the center's fall schedule. Linda Pickens, an experienced and lively bridge instructor is known for her enthusiastic and fun teaching style. Take this opportunity to brush up on techniques and renew old skills. Educational materials are provided.

Greek fest. The Panaghia of Island Park Greek Orthodox Church, 83 Newport Road, will host a Greek Festival from Thursday to Sunday, August 17-20.
