Storytime.Registration for storytimes will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 14 beginning at 9:30 a.m. until the sessions begin. Proof of residency in the Merrick school district and the child's birth date are required. Toddler storytime will take place on Wednesday mornings beginning March 1st from 10 until 10:30 a.m. or 11 untl 11:30 a.m. Sessions consist of a story, craft, playtime and songs. All toddlers must be 2 by March 1st and accompanied by a caregiver. 3 year old storytime sessions meet on Thursday mornings from 10 until 10:30 a.m. or Friday afternoons from 1:30 until 2:00 p.m. beginning on March 2nd or March 3rd. Sessions include stories, fingerplays and a craft. 4 year old storytime will be held on Tuesdays from 10 until 10:30 a.m. or Thursdays from 1:30 until 2 p.m beginning Feb. 28 and March 2nd. Sessions consist of stories, music and movement. 4 year olds can attend sessions by themselves but caregivers are asked to remain in the Children's Room.
Intro classes in yoga. Yoga instructor Jeanne McElwain will teach Yoga's most common standing poses, seated twists, forward bends and much more.
