Nassau County warming spaces are open

Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman has announced that temporary warming spaces remain activated throughout the county due to forecasted freezing temperatures.

Available locations include:

  • Cantiague Park administration office, 480 W John St., Hicksville, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Wantagh administration building, 1 King Road, Wantagh, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Mitchel Field administration building, 1 Charles Lindbergh Blvd., Uniondale: 24-hour service

Residents at Cantiague Park or Wantagh locations after 4 p.m. will be taken to Mitchel Field by the Nassau County Police Department. Anyone needing transportation to warming spaces should call 911 for assistance to Mitchel Field.
