Arrests
n On April 3, police arrested Edward Richardson 46, of Rockville Centre for stealing assorted merchandise at CVS, 594 Atlantic Ave., East Rockaway. He was charged with Petit Larceny.
n On April 5, 4th precinct police arrested Robert Marmo 35, of East Rockaway, on Garfield Place for Menacing. According to police, Marmo was driving his 1995 Jeep recklessly, committing multiple VTL violations, including failing to stop at the stop sign and a red traffic signal. Arrestee refused to comply with the police officers order to stop. When he got out of his vehicle, Marno attempted to run away and tried to hit the officer with a large paint bucket.
n On April 7, police arrested Gilbert Eason 49, of West Hempstead for Grand Larceny. Police said that Eason was captured on a Jan. 20 surveillance video in the East Rockaway CVS taking numerous packs of razors.
n On April 10 at 6:15 p.m., Lawrence Hartman, 27, of Freeport was arrested by Lynbrook Police on Merrick Road and Vincent Avenue in Lynbrook for aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle.
n On April 12 at 11:35 p.m., Johnny Masseus, 31, of Lynbrook, was arrested on Wilson Avenue in Lynbrook for aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle.

Grand Larceny
n On April 4, a victim reported to police that several items, including cash, credit/debit cards, and an LIRR pass were taken from her purse that was in her car parked in her Centre Avenue, East Rockaway driveway.
n On April 3, an unknown suspect removed a GPS, a driver’s license and a Chase credit card from a complainant’s 2004 Chevrolet parked in front of his Hewlett Point Avenue house.
n On April 7, a Ruger 9mm handgun was stolen from the basement of a Wyoming Avenue home in Lynbrook. The gun was valued at $300.
n On April 12, prescription pills were stolen from a Walnut Avenue home in Lynbrook.
n On April 12, a resident at a Crab Avenue home in Lynbrook had their identity stolen. A utility bill was used to obtain credit and power from a utility service in Texas.

Vehicular damage
n On Mar. 24, a Mildred Road, East Rockaway victim reported that an unknown person broke the driver’s side window of his 1994 Mazda.
