Police arrested 31-year-old Thomas K. Lyons, of Coram, on Oct. 2 at Lincoln Boulevard and East Walnut Street. Lyons was charged with DWI and leaving the scene of a personal injury accident, as well as criminal possession of a loaded firearm. Police officials said that the arresting officer discovered the firearm after a search of the Lyon’s car.
