Arrests
On Nov. 21, at 11:45 a.m., a 44-year-old woman of East Rockaway, was arrested for shoplifting at Green Acres Road in Valley Stream.
A 39-year-old, of Freeport, was arrested for having open warrants from Lynbrook Village Court for speeding, operating a vehicle while using a handheld phone, aggravated unlicensed operation (two counts), and unlicensed operation on Nov. 23 at 8:05 p.m.
A 31-year-old man, of Brooklyn, was arrested and charged with petit larceny, failure to signal and aggravated unlicensed operation, for an incident that occurred at CVS Pharmacy at 633 Merrick Rd. on Nov. 24 at 3:10 p.m.
On Nov. 25 at 3:58 p.m., a 31-year-old man, of Valley Stream, was arrested and charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance (Oxycodone), and criminal possession of a controlled substance (Heroin), on Sunrise Hwy.
On Nov. 28 at 6:53 p.m., a 30-year-old man, of Hempstead, was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle with no inspection, safety glass violation and aggravated unlicensed operation on Peninsula Blvd.
An 18-year-old man, of Lynbrook, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana on Sunrise Hwy on Nov. 30 at 1 a.m.
A 36-year-old man, of Valley Stream, was arrested and charged with petit larceny, for an incident that occurred at CVS Pharmacy at 633 Merrick Road on Nov. 30 at 9:15 a.m.
Identity theft
At 6:25 p.m. on Nov. 24 it was reported that several unauthorized withdrawals were made from a TD Bank account from Nov. 19 through Nov. 23. The total loss is $2,840.
Petit larceny
At 10:35 a.m. on Nov. 25 a resident of Garden Drive reported that someone stole two toy Hess trucks that were left at the front door by the U.S. Postal Service on Nov. 14. The total loss is $67.32.
Burglary
Someone entered residence on Bixley Heath, Lynbrook, through an unlocked rear window, and stole several personal items, money and jewelry. The incident occurred between 7:45 a.m. and 7:05 p.m. on Oct. 30. The total loss is valued at $3,700.
Grand larceny
The rear driver’s side window of a car parked in Municipal Parking Field No. 21 was broken, and a purse, wallet and six credit cards were stolen from the vehicle. The incident occurred between 9:15 and 11:57 p.m. on Nov. 27.The total loss is valued at $300.
