Arrest

On March 8 at 12:13 p.m., an 18-year-old Franklin Square woman was arrested and charged with petit larceny in the vicinity of Hempstead Avenue.

Investigation

At 12:30 p.m. on March 7, a Merrick Road resident reported that he was the victim of a scam on social media.

Unusual incident

A Marvin Avenue resident notified police that someone altered and cashed two checks he mailed from the Rockville Centre Post Office on March 10 at noon.

Criminal mischief

On March 9 at 8:15 p.m., a Harvard Avenue resident reported that someone damaged the front door and window of her home.

Larceny

At 4:20 p.m. on March 10, an employee of Shing Wong Kitchen notified police that a customer did not pay for his food order after it was delivered.

Leaving the scene

A motorist reported that a car was struck by a vehicle that left the scene while it was parked on Maple Avenue on March 12 at 8:26 p.m.
