Debby Boone, the songstress who rocked the music world with her hit single “You Light Up My Life,” visits Tilles Center with Reflections of Rosemary, a performance that pays tribute to her mother-in-law, Rosemary Clooney, on Friday, Oct. 21, at 7:30 and 9 p.m. This collection of tunes, featured on her recently released CD of the same name, creates an intimate musical portrait of her legendary mother-in-law, with a personal, emotionally-rich story line. “I wanted to select songs that would give an insight into Rosemary from a family perspective, and from the more than 30 years that I spent with her,” says Boone. Although some songs were either recorded or often performed onstage by Ms. Clooney, including Irving Berlin’s “Blue Skies,” Duke Ellington’s “Mood Indigo,” and Sammy Cahn and Jule Stynes’ “Time After Time,” Boone includes other tunes for more personal family reasons.

Tickets are $52 and $42; available at (800) 745-3000 or www.ticketmaster.com or www.tillescenter.org.
