Dinner in the dark in Rockville Centre

Rockville Centre’s Lions Club members were joined by local officials and many from the community for their first annual dinner that raised funds for the outpatient Diabetes Education Center at Mercy Medical Center and other Rockville Centre Lions Club charities, many of which are sight-related. Two members of the club, former Trustee Jeanne Mulry and Leggz Ltd. Dance founder and artistic director Joan MacNaughton were honored for their spirited leadership, dedication and support of numerous charitable and cultural endeavors that enrich the community and help their neighbors. The Lions are sponsoring a Zumba-thon this Friday night. See page 16 for details.
