Disney's The Incredibles Glides Onto The Ice

During this one-of-a-kind show, audience families join Bob, Helen, Violet, Dash, and Jack-Jack as they enjoy Disney's beloved theme park attractions - all brought to life on the ice."This story picks up where the movie left off," explained Michael Kulova, who portrays the Parr's energetic, endearing son Dash. "After saving the world, the family take a much-needed vacation to relax. But, of course, the vacation becomes more of an adventure than they had anticipated."The adventure begins when the Parr family hits the road on their well-deserved vacation to the Magic Kingdom. As they ride favorite Disney park attractions and meet many Disney characters, the family's extraordinary powers keep getting in the way. In one instance, Jack-Jack, accidentally gets caught on the windmill on "It's A Small World" and Bob has to use his super-strength to stop the ride, causing a malfunction that accelerates it to lightning speed. "This show is truly reminiscent of Disney theme park experiences because the crowd can virtually relive their favorite park memories with the Incredibles," said producer Kenneth Feld. "Each show moment takes audiences to lands beyond their imagination like they remember from the parks."Of course, this being an ice show, the skating is the star. "There's a lot of exciting skating that's getting a great response from the audience," said Kulova, who is performing in his first major role with Disney On Ice. "There's more intense skating in this show than compared to some of the others. You'll see lots of single skaters performing jumps, very fast routines, and ice dancing."The lighting and special effects add to a show that elicits "oohs and "aahs" from the audience. "When the Incredible family first comes out in their supersuits the reaction is amazing," Kulova said.As an added treat for Disney fans, the audience gets to be a part of the show, with the aid of the latest Disney creation, the Incredi-Band. The light-up wristband is given to all children as they walk into the arena. When the scheming Syndrome arrives to spoil everyone's fun, the Parrs must don their Super Suits and stop him. Syndrome, however, is better prepared this time, and the Incredibles need a little help -from their fans in the audience."What makes this show really special is that the audience gets to help the Incredibles save the day," said Skylar Rogers, who portrays Bob Parr's pal Lucius, aka Frozone, who has the unique ability to put out fires. "With the Incredi-Band, everyone helps Frozone and the Incredibles save the park from that villainous Syndrome. It's all great fun for the skaters and the audience."
