East Meadow High School seniors celebrated their graduation ceremony under a sunny summer sky last Sunday.
Parents watched as their children received their diplomas from Board of Education trustees and moved their tassels from left to right, signifying the end of their high school years.
Superintendent Leon Campo delivered a special speech to the grads before his official retirement next month. In their remarks, the valedictorians, salutatorians and class presidents from each school reflected on the past, acknowledged the present, and looked to the future.
